Mary Norton's classic children's novel The Borrowers will introduce you to these small people who live... well, where do they live? Under your floorboards? In your walls? Inside your piano? They're usually very good at not being seen, and extremely resourceful.

But, what would happen if they WERE seen? This book will capture your family's imaginations, and our Read-Aloud Poster will give you opportunities to explore the author's craft and express your own creativity.

We’re pleased to introduce a new format with this poster: using one poster sheet and a little cut-and-glue-magic, you'll create 1) a grandfather clock with doors that hide the poster's writing activiities, and 2) the Borrowers' apartment, to be furnished with items "borrowed" from your own home.

We think this book is best for ages 6 to 9, but you know your family best! Be prepared for a little cut-and-glue assembly work prior to reading. Posters don’t come with a copy of the book; check your library, bookstore, or choose an audiobook. You decide!
